Denver Nuggets about to be SMACKED DOWN!!!
I find this feud hysterical.
If you haven’t heard, there is a conflict between the Denver Nuggets and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). In last August, the WWE reserved the rights for a day at the Pepsi Center in Denver, CO. The funny thing is that day is actually the same day as one of the home games for the NBA Western Conference Finals between Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets. So now there is a feud between both the organizations over who has the claim over that night.
Vince McMahon president and CEO of the WWE has argued that they have the right for the night at the Pepsi Center and that the owner, Kroenke, is a lame excuse of an owner. I won’t lie, I agree with McMahon on how they deserve that night. They reserved it about close to a year now. They deserve the spot more than the NBA. I feel that Kroenke should have had more faith in his Denver Nuggets and kept that night open just in case his team went to the NBA playoffs. Kroenke doesn’t have the right to take it away after the WWE have sold tickets for this event for the past few months. That would hurt the WWE’s entertainment business and their fans.
I know the NBA will probably win this and force the WWE to move its date, but I don’t feel they should. If there is a contract, you cannot break it. I know I am a big NBA fan and find wrestling fake, but fair is fair.
Didn’t you learn that from your mother when you were little?
However, I do have one way for them to settle this and that is… a WRESTLING MATCH!
I would love to see Chris ‘Birdman’ Anderson vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin. I don’t even know if Stone Cold still wrestles, but damn that would be fun to watch. Seeing Birdman blocking Stone Cold’s bald head as if it was a basketball going to the rim would be amusing.

The Denver Nuggets are about to learn that breach of contract is a mother.
this is so stupid. lmao.
stone cold stunna!!!!
ahaha Sonlay...
Hm...once upon a time, Dennis Rodman & Hulk Hogan took on Karl Malone and Diamond Dallas Page.
@Romans_837 - that was a good match, actually. Rodzilla should have gone farther with wrestling. unfortunately, it was with WCW. booo.
WWE does better than the NBA in attendance, anyway. they win. no one messes with the McMahons... besides The Rock, Stone Cold, The Big Show... HHH, sometimes... etc.
It''s also good publicity for the WWE.
I am with you. The WWE should get that night. The NBA should have to deal. They should have thought about that ahead of time and at least included it in the contract as a quid pro quo.
And Hubby and I were just talking about Birdman yesterday. He just isn't an attractive guy with that gelled up mess.
Did you guys see Comissioner Stern talking about this before the Lakers game. He was incredibly nonchalant about it.
"This is not a problem for us. This is a problem for Vince, but he'll handle it."
come on sony, take this farther.
this situation deserves more than a few lines about the potential matchups.
we all know the machine would put any opponent into a near fatal sleeper hold.
LETS GET IT ON BABY ....
@woodrowwilson - bahahaha i forgot about the machine. he would probably laser beam them.
